July 4th Celebrations
If you haven’t made plans on how to spend Independence Day this year, here’s a snap shot of some local festivals and fireworks happening. Most of the events are free. Blast on the Bridge, Fall Creek Road Bridge, Fishers July 4 Festival starts at 5 with food and games. Fireworks over the water at 10:15 p.m.
Carmel Fest, Carmel Civic Square July 3 and 4 Live music, food and a parade (10:30 a.m., July 4) and fireworks at 9:45 p.m.
Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks Festival, Noblesville High School July 4 The annual parade begins at 4:30 p.m. followed by the festival with live music, games and food vendors. Fireworks will be at 10 p.m.
July 4th Celebration, Lions Park, Zionsville July 4 Live entertainment, food and kids’ events begin at 5 p.m. with fireworks at dusk.
IPL Downtown Freedom Festival, Indiana War Memorial, Indianapolis July 4 Beginning at 6:30 p.m. with live music, food and games. Fireworks will be launched from Region Tower at 10 pm.
Lights over Morse, Cicero Community Park July 1-4 Events, fun and games, including live music daily. Nostalgic Flights World War II Aircraft Flyover at 9 p.m., July 4, followed by fireworks over Morse Lake.
Saxony Independence Celebration Concert and Fireworks, Whitton Park, Fishers July 3 Live music begins at 7 p.m., bring a cooler, or feast on food truck fare until the fireworks show at 10 p.m.
Star Spangled Symphony, Conner Prairie, Fishers July 1 - July 4 The Indianapolis Symphony will perform each night at 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 for adults and $13 for children. Each show is capped off with the fireworks display and real cannons.
Westfield Rocks, Grand Park July 4 The annual festival begins at 4 p.m. with food, music and kids’ activities. Fireworks are at 10 p.m.
