An Issue Of A Motivated Seller?

While I've never been to Larry Bird's house in Naples, and have no idea what his motivation is to sell, I do know that when sellers are motivated, they tend to do one of two things:

  1. Drop the price, because if people aren't biting, most of the time it's because the price is higher than what the market wants to pay.
  2. Make updates to the house.

I'm not saying I love everything about the decor of this house (like the wallpaper, for starters), but it doesn't appear that the issue is the condition of the house. People will buy this for the location, of course it has to be at the right price.  Interesting story, nonetheless, and I always appreciate the opportunity to give my opinions.
